Bikini CareUpdated 3 days ago

KINI CARE IS SELF CARE.

Like little treasures of the sea, our kinis need love and attention to stay as vibrant and soft as the day they arrived. Treat them kindly, and they’ll be with you on so many sunshine adventures to come.

YOUR KINI LOVES

- Cold, gentle hand-washes. Rinse away salt, sand, and chlorine immediately after wearing (don’t let us sit in your wash basket!)

- A delicates bag. We’re a ‘lil sensitive, so if you absolutely must use a machine, opt for a cold gentle cycle and protect us in a delicates bag.

- Shade drying, laid flat.

- Smooth surfaces. Pool edges, rough rocks…we’re not a fan, and they might snag our fabric. Dive in, don’t drag us, please.

YOUR KINI ISN’T HAPPY WITH

- A rough handling. No wringing, no soaking, no bleaching.

- Heat. We don’t love dryers, irons, and dry cleaning.

- Living rolled up, damp, at the bottom of your tote.

- Spa days. Hot tubs and highly chlorinated pools strip and fade color. Save us for the oceans and the odd pool party <3

- Hard water. Bromine is a chemical element present in some lakes and pools. If diving into one of these situations…we recommend rinse and test before wear.

EXTRA TIPS (FROM THOSE WHO KNOW BEST)

SPF, oils & fake tan can leave marks. Wait until your creams are fully absorbed before suiting up, and if any wayward drops land on your kini, a cold rinse straight away is the next move!

A note on color. Our whites and pastel colors may become a little sheer when wet. We also use high-quality dyes across our brighter shades, but when light and dark colors are paired together, they’ll need a little extra care. Rinse after wear, don’t leave them damp, and they’ll stay as dreamy as the day you unwrapped them.
